It was like deja vu all over a band.
We spent the afternoon,
Prom Nite and I, printing their new CDs' cases;
tediously completed one side of 100 cases, with the other side to be done today. After discarding the irregulars and mistakes, I hope we have 90 left.
We printed to (unfortunately glossy)
cardboard gatefold CD sleeves, which I have yet to find locally. Afraid the ink will rub off, we're hoping baggies made of
crappy plastic will protect them. Picked up the
screen, emulsion, and ink at
Asel Art Supply, made our transparencies at
FedEx Kinko's for pennies, and anything else we needed was at
Target or
Lowe's.
It's labor intensive but they are nice to create personally, instead of the detached action of ordering poorly-designed
Disc Makers CDs.
I'm sure it'll happen again.
